How long will it take to clean my carpet?

This will depend on how much of an area is being cleaned and how congested the areas are.

 

Will water ruin my carpet?

We do not over saturate your carpets. While our process is thorough, the carpet will not be "soaking wet" but the carpet will be damp after we are finished.

 

How long will it take my carpet to dry?

This depends on how much air circulation there is in the areas we cleaned. You can help your carpet dry faster by turning on your heat in the winter, or A/C in the summer. Most thermostats have an option to run your furnace fan continuously, turning this on will also speed up the drying process. Also, any paddle fans or box fans you can run would be helpful.

 

I've heard that having your carpet cleaned will make it soil faster. Is this true?

This can be a problem when residue is left behind after cleaning. We always rinse the carpets thoroughly removing all dirt and residue to avoid this problem. Regularly cleaning of your carpet will prolong it's life more so than waiting too long to have your carpets cleaned.

 

Do I need to move my furniture before you arrive for the cleaning?

No this is not necessary. However, we do ask that you move any breakable items out of the room such as lamps, ornaments, glass picture frames, etc. We also ask that you clean up any small items from the rooms such as toys, books, and others small items. We can move most pieces of furniture with some exceptions. Items too heavy such as pianos, book cases and china cabinets we cannot move. We are fully bonded and insured, but we must refuse to move some electronic items such as entertainment centers, large TVs, and computers. ANY item to be moved is at the discretion of the technician.

 

Do I have to be home while my carpet is being cleaned?

This is entirely up to the customer. We often have appointments when the customer is not home. Our technicians are trained professionals you can trust.

 

Can I walk on my carpet after it is cleaned?

Yes. Walking on your carpet after we are finished is not harmful to your carpet. Damp carpet does attract dirt however, so you want to be sure your shoes are clean before walking on your carpet.
